The fishing in this area should be strong when you come up,redfish, flounder, cobia
just depends what you want to target.Water temp as of today is 71.f.For a boat to go on I dont know of any charter captains in that area, you should have alot to choose from.I suggest going to a web-site called charleston fishing.com,look around you will
find info for the Beaufort and Hiltonhead area.

Contact the dockmaster at Harbor Town marina on Hilton Head and ask for the phone number of "Kudzu Charters". Met this guy last week when I was on a delivery and he comes across as a hard core fishing captain and alot of fun also. I think he'd give you a great time and catch fish to boot.

Pretty sure Kudzu is based out of Palmetto Bay Marina on HHI.

Redfish and sea trout are real big there. I chartered a small boat last year and got several reds and a few trout. The captain said he can get tarpon also, depending on the time of year. I probably wouldn't charter the guy I used last time, he really didn't show any enthusiasm and wasn't the friendliest guy. Unfortunately I forget his name. But it was a small 22 foot cc, I believe out of Longcove.

You will be there during prime cobia season. I fished last year with Capt. John Walker and he would recommend him. Don't have his number, but try doing a google search - I think he said he has a website. He runs a 22' Grady CC
