Fishing In Puerto Rico

I Have a business trip going to San Juan. Will be there over the weekend (April) and I am looking to go fishing on Sunday. Any suggestions? We did a 1/2 day trip last year trolling outside old San Juan. Went out about 2 or 3 miles. Trolled with a plastic jig. It really sucked. 6 boats and only one strike and no fish. $400 boat ride. Do not want to repeat. Would consider surf, bay or deep water. Any help?
