I fished with the Driftwood.......They have a restraunt that was awesome.. They will cook and prepare what they catch for you, that night. It was neat. I did only 1/2 day and enhjoyed myself. This was 5 years ago....

I am going back for 2 weeks in August and plan on fishing with them again.

Also my faviorite place to eat was Madam --- I forget what it was...computer search. I had lamb and it was the best ever.

Found it Madam Janette...great spot for wife....or gf.

I also fished on a local charter but do not remember his name.......not impressed....

Good luck

I fished a 30ish foot luhrs called "lucky star", found them by walking the docks accross the street from the Marriott. They were a great crew that seemed to be very knowledgable. If I was you, I would walk the docks and see how hot the bite is, and be sure to ask to see the catch. If they pull out a fish from the freezer that looks like it has freezer burn, move on. (yes, it happened) There will be boats available! Enjoy!!!

If you have not been there before, rent a 4x4 jeep and go to the back side of the island. There are many beaches that you will be the only ones there.

was down there 3 years ago (in feb.) did two charters on teaser & kennys toy for aruba these boats were tops.
in aruba the wind is always blowing 4'-6'+ seas are the norm. also most boats KEEP all the fish caught they will give you a fillet or two.
oh yea we caught fish mostly wahoo 4 or 5 each trip up to 60lbs.

Go with Driftwood, they just completely redid their 35 Bertram and actually have a Post 50 too. No matter which charter you choose, make it a MORNING charter, and if you want some fish to eat, tell them in advance. If you like some more hardcore fishing with less pampering, pm me I will give you the #s of another charter boat that is docked at the Renaissance hotel (former Sonesta). Have fun!

I used the Driftwood also and would recomend them. The resturaunt was a cool experience too. Served our catch of king fish and wahoo in a few different ways and all was delish.
