Default Aruba Fishing

I am looking for information on light tackle offshore charters in Aruba. I will be going there at the end of February and hope to get out for a 1/2 day. Jigging or live bait fishing is of far more intetest to me than trolling up small fish on 50's and 80's.

I been fishing in aruba before it was during the summer and all we did was troll. We ended up catching 2 wahoos over 20 lbs some small black fin tuna and couple of dolphin. I don't think you will find a lot of live bait or jig fishing there cause the water gets so deep so fast it goes from 200ft to 2000ft 1/4 mile from land. We went on the Driftwood capt was great. Like I said above about how deep the water gets your fishing as soon as you leave the marina. There is also the Driftwood restaurant which we ate at after finished fishing the capt sent our fish over there for us. It cost up $12 per person and the chef can cook your fish many different ways like fryed, blackend, broiled or island style. This is one of the nicest restaurant on the island and everything in there is fresh. The cost for half day was $280 to troll.
