Default rod holder/rod rigger advice

Hi All,
just got a Wellcraft 232 coastal. for an inexplicable reason to me it only has two gunnel rod holders aft, where as the 252 has four, two on each side like all other boat I has looked at. I want the exact same setup as the 252, So I worked two rod holders into the deal for this boat and I get to pick them. On my old runabout I had scotty mount holders and trolled four lines...I hope to do the same in this boat with the gunnel holders by placing two rods in the aft holders and two in the holders I want to put in by using rod riggers. The other issue is they will not install them, I have too.

So my question..15, 30 or 90 degree holders? and also I do not believe I can get to the back of the gunnel to install a backing plate? how else can I secure them after drilling the hole other than self tapping screws and 5200? any other advice? thanks!

i believe standard is 30 degrees, I would only get 90's if I was only going to be using bent butts.
