Default mounting electric reel outlets

I just received my order from Elec-tra-mate of the Hubbell 15 amp mounting kit and am trying to figure the best way to mount it. I woul dlike to mount it flush, but I am not sure that is doable with the box. I have installed regual outlets in my house, so the elctricity is not a problem. Just trying to figure out how to install it flush. Do I use the box? How big of a cut? Has anyone installed one of these. I will likely call Elec-tra-mate on mOnday, but trying to figure it out before then to mount it.

What boat are you mounting it on? I got mine up under my gunnels so you cant even see em and they are protected from the salt spray. you dont want them exposed to corosion, you will end up with a bad connection and you will have problems with the motor not getting juice.

That is what I am figuring. Just screw the outlet in a cut out and put the cover over it. I plan on mounting it on my console as I use it on my kingfish rigger trolling a dredge. I also do deep drop out of that rigger. Works pretty good. Doing it on the cheap with a 6/0 eltramate.
