Fall Venice Tuna Fishing

Now that round two with the hurricanes is over looks like we will finally be able to get our boats back down to Venice and get back to work. Hopefully there is no round three! We are rapidly approaching my favorite time to tuna fish as the fish get noticeably larger and start eating mullet. If you have never seen a yellowfin tuna well over a hundred pounds launch itself over six feet into the air in pursuit of a three pound mullet you don't know what you are missing. The tuna aren't the only game in town as the wahoo start to make a showing around November. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will give you a little taste of what I'm talking about. We were hoping to be able to get our boats down today but it doesn't look like that'll happen so hopefully tomorrow. Yes they are usually hungry and dumb after nearly a month with very very little pressure.
