Fishing has been great . . . I wish I had more time for pics and reports but I am super busy fishing.
Enjoy.
There is a pic of one of my best days this year when I got my clients into some big ones. A 311, 265, and 205 amongst others in one day. The yield was 7.5 boxes of boneless skinless fillets (a box is 50 lbs). Plenty other big ones too. Silver salmon have moved in and we got our limits easy last week, but how long will it last is anybody's guess.
Good luck and tight lines!
P.S. Gulf Coast buddies I'm on my way to Venice, LA Sept 26!!!! Can't wait to go YFT fishing with you guys!

Great pictures Rob. You are a lucky man to be able to enjoy the summer in Alaska. We did our whale watch trip out of Hoonah a few weeks ago and the area is just beautiful.

Good Lord that's some monster halibut! I miss Alaska so much. Lived there for 3 years. Went on a few halibut trips, but never caught anything like that!

Rob, wow, those are just fantastic pictures. Let's hopw there's still a fishing town to go to...... Got pretty ugly down our way with this Gustav thing....
I did bring my boat up out of harm's way so at least there's that. Finding a place to launch may be a different story....
