Default Block Island Fishing

Can anyone recommend charters that run out of Block Island for the end of July. If we can we'd like to run offshore...if logistics don't work we could also stay inshore. I know that's a wide range....but any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Capt Mitch on the Sakarak - more inshore than offshore, but a good captain

Big Kahuna for more offshore

There are quite a few out of Pt Judith that will pick you up at the Island. The best 2 all around boats full time boats are the "Maridee" and "Prowler", Al Anderson on the Prowler is a great fisherman if you want to drink and fish don't call him, no drinking on his boat.

Other excellent offshore boats are "Dorado II" "Restless" and "Persuader" if you want to fish for bass these 3 are good I'd just say that they are Excellent offshore and good inshore there are other guys that spend more time inshore such as in order: "Misty", "Patty J" and "Mako". I've known all of these guys for over 20 years and they are all good.
