TACO OUTRIGGER HELP SENT THIS IN TO TACO...WAITING ON A RESPONSE...
I have a pair of 18' Black and Gold Telescoping Outriggers. They have served me fine but now I notice this spring that one of them is kinda droopy...one is straight and erect as a young sailor on liberty and the other droops like an Old Chief Petty officer coming home from sea to a homely overweight wife...LOL...anyway on a serious note...it appears that one or two sections are a little sloppy and I was wondering is there was a fix for this, perhaps replacement sections? I have looked at them and surmised that if I drilled a locking pin hole about 6 inches further back on each rigger section that this would cause them to have more bearing surface and hence more rigidity. I realize I might loose 2 or so feet of rigger but 16' of stiff rigger has got to be getter than 18' of droopy rigger...anyway looking forward to your response...
