Default removable fighting chairs

I have found this product online and I am wondering if anyone has it installed in their boat and if so, would they recommend it?

My goal is to have some kind of secure harness and chair for my teenage daughters to fight fish in the back of my center console. When fishing with them, I need to be able to help them and it is easier to get to them from the console in the cockpit instead of the bow.

I dont think that would help your cause out much... I cant see getting much if any leverage out of that, and if you are beam to, you will have your gals rocking at the edge of the boat... I would go with a gimbal harness and teach them to stand-up...... might be more convenient

S_S,
I tried ti find a link to a chair that I have seen that may be what you are looking for. It is basically a fold up deck chair with a gimble in the crotch portion of the chair. It looks to me like it would handle anything in the 30-50# class. I have thought about getting one for my wife to use but I would rather her to fight stand-up. I think on my boat it would take at least a 7' rod to clear the engines.

Tight Lines,
Aubrey
