holy hell are those bad boys flexing.... I dont get that when I have 4 spreaders out....not even close....yikes!!!
Probably not the entire problem but it looks like the halyards are too short and really pulling on the riggers.

I've got double halyards on my telescopic 18 footers and they hardly flex at all.

Go with the the Lee's, I ran mine with a long bait, a mid bait, plus a teaser. They are awesome, plus they just look better.

I wish they were running this deal when I bought mine last year...

It was my understanding that the Lee 16' poles only fit in the Taco base if you removed the bushing. You may want to double check that. Also, you can easily double rig the 15' Taco and it will be much stiffer than the 18' poles. The tigress model of poles also fit the Taco bases perfectly.

Fluka is correcet on all accounts, including the lee's bushing. My neighbor sells them all and we checked and double checked.Tigress are better poles than taco, those are the ones I ended up with and they are good.Lees would be metal to metal no bushing. Not me, mine are on the boat all year don't want stainless rubbing aluminum in the bases.

Hey, 1NO Rerets, I was looking at 18 ft tigress outriggers also and a pair of 18ft outriggers with spreaders, do you think the 18ft tigress OR work well without spreaders on them?

Thanks

Yes I do.The spreaders will make the poles way stiffer, but also add cables and turn buckles and maintain----- ence.I ran 2 lines usually with big 12 inch lures and a teaser off of each tigress with the new inside track, no regrets. Now that boat is gone I'm doing it all over again. The best match was what I had, taco grand slam 350's and the tigress poles no spreaders.I also believe if you have a fast boat the spreader cables will sing alot.
