Default BIG AJ and Grouper grubs

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to fish an overnight'r with a friend of mine on his boat, a 32" Centry CC. On the way back in he rigged up a bait I had never used before. It was an incredibly large grub on a 16 oz jig head. I, literally, could barely get my hand around the thing. The AJ's and grouper loved them. Since then I have been searching where to get them. If anyone has any info I sure would appreciate the help!!! Thank you in advance!

These are readily available on the west coast, especially in the NW. Kalin is a very popular brand. I saw some other ones I think they were called Boneyard or similar. They were a little tougher and held up better. I used almost 2,000 8" Kalin's last season FWIW. This year I got a deal on similar grubs direct from Pure Fishing (Berkeley) through the guide program.

Search those brand names and you'll find them easy.

Thanks rbhankins001. I found the Boneyard website. Looks like I will have to register as a member to be able to view prices and order. Thanks again.

Roger that JT!

I might add that you can get larger jig heads than 16 0z. I'm a big fan of the 24 oz in heavy current.

Good luck.
