Default Tag Lines

Can someone explain how to rig tag lines with your outriggers...photos would be great also.

There's something to be said for attaching the tagline direct to the outrigger, rather than to the halyard as illustrated in that link. The return weight, if properly installed, will still be able to bring the tagline end back to the boat - but with the tagline crimped directly to the outrigger, there is less clutter when you have to haul your halyard up and down (such as when fishing baits, which need to be fished out of rigger clips rather than taglines).

My system is a little more simple. I just take a length of 400lb mono & put a snap swivel on either side. I use a heavy snap swivel for the end I attach the line w/ the rubber band to so it swings back to the boat vs. using a tag return weight. I cut the tag lines to a length so that when not in use i can secure the tag end to the front of my t-top. This also enables me to use the outriggers pulley system to drag 2 more sets of bars in the middle. I have 18 foot Rupp Radial Top Guns on my 31 Contender & it works very well.
