generally speaking about how much fuel does a Guide burn fishing the flats in the keys??

When I retire I would like to become a guide.

It depends: I have gone down there for about 12 years. Sometimes they run two miles and you pole all day and run two miles back in tarpon season. Other times we have run an hour to the back country and back. I would say less than 12 gallons and sometimes almost none.
