Default fishing magazines

I want to subscribe to a fishing magazine but can't decide which one. I'm looking for suggestions.

I'm looking for one that is more geared towards near shore, coastal and inshore fishing. I'm not that interested in the offshore stuff.... if it's in there that's fine i like reading it but i'm more of the near shore/bay fisherman.

The Fisherman is good. It has a couple of interesting articles each issue that are tailored to local fishing and comes each week (a couple of weeks are skipped in the winter).

Absolutely check out "The Fisherman". A new issue every week of the year, and very fair pricing.

first post and I hope it will help many members Check out eBay for magazine subscriptions. You can get up to 3 years of Sport fishing, Saltwater Sportsman, Marlin and many others for as little as $8.00 The magazine company's make there $$$ from the advertisers throughout the magazine. A company will pay alot more to advertise in a mag that has say a couple million subscribers then a few hundred thousand. I get about 12-15 subscriptions to my house for myself, wife, and kids and turned many friends onto this big savings of entertainment.

Oh, but as for inshore, I also would recommend "The Fisherman". Full of local knowledge and fishing reports from each port on the NE coast. It's not on ebay but well worth the subscription price.

On The Water Mag. has great reading, gear and tips. You may of seen them on their cable tv series. I know it is geared toward the North East, But see them slowly moving south.
