Gyro binoculars

I have a pair of "Newcon" Russian made gyro stabilized binoculars and am wondering if anyone else has any experience with them.
I am impressed with their performance but I find them less than comfortable.
Mostly the eyecups are hard rubber and tend to bruise my nose.
I have no idea where I might find some replacement eyecups , and I haven't had any luck with the importer.
They do work well but I have to explain my two black eyes whenever I use them for any length of time.
