Anybody ever fished with this outfit while down there?

The wife and I along with a friend and his wife will be vacationing there in late march and would like to fish a few days. My buddy isn't a big fisherman but one of his customers has booked us with this charter for one day. Never been fed, supplied with drinks or picked up at the resort before but it's all inclusive so we'll take it. I could care less about these items, I'd just like to catch some stripe marlin and possibly some roosters.

I would like to possibly fish three days which two may be solo, can you walk the docks and get on as a fill in or is it necessary to book ahead of time?

Never heard of the boat - but there are hundreds of charterboats in Cabo.

While you might find a stripey, your chances of a rooster are not good in March. Hope you prove me wrong tho.

My wife and I fished there on our honeymoon last October. I don't remember the charterboat name, but there are hundreds. There are charter sign up stands all over the East side of the marina. You can sign up the day before, most likely the morning of just be there early. Over all had a great experience, unfortunately the billfish tournement was going on that week, so we only caught a bunch of dorado, several really nice bulls. You can have the fish cleaned and then they'll even deliver it vacuum sealed to your hotel. Hope you all enjoy the trip.

While you can certainly book a boat at the marina, there is a real good chance you will get a $650 boat ride during which you might or might not hook up with a fish. I have never heard of that outfit, but I know that when i fish cabo I always fish aboard the flyhooker and have never been skunked. You will probably want a Panga for the roosters, but I don't know who to recommend. If you get ahold of George and Mary they can advise you about the roosters and a panga. That is just one of the great things about Mary and George, after you have fished with them you have a friend forever. Lots of help in Cabo. Have a great time.
