Default West Palm Beach

I will be spending a long weekend in West Palm Beach the last weekend in Feb. and would like to do a day of fishing, in or offshore. Any recommendations for charters? Captains? Guides?

I had chartered the baby grand for a day of fishing and did very well, they treated me fair, raised fish, and we had a good time.... I think they are out of Jupiter if Im not mistaken...? Try the Sailfish marina as well, there are plenty of boats there.. All have websites.

Yep, check out Sailfish Marina. They can put you on a good charter.

I've fished with Rob Mazzei on Sail King charters ( http://www.sailking.com/ ), fished out of Jupiter (I think he'll launch out of Palm Beach inlet too though), he fishes inshore and off. Caught spanish mackeral, dolphin, couple of sharks, a nice albie and a good sized sail, in mid-March. We probably ran 20-30 miles on the day looking for fish, so he was definitely willing to work to find them.

Enjoy!

I'm with Hutch. If you like to fish then you'll have a good time with Rob. He runs a 28' Dusky with twins. I went out with him about 1 year ago and I'll be booking another trip with him on my next visit to WPB.

We had a couple of false albies, a nice sized wahoo, a shark and dropped a sailfish. There were also a couple of other fish landed but I can't quite remember what they were.

Enjoy,
Joe.
