Default Better handle for TLD 20/25's???

The handles on these TLD 20/25's are pretty bad, too small crap my hands.

Does anyone sell a replacement/better handle for these reels???

Thanks.

T-bar handles work great. I have them on my TLD-25's and they really improve their power dramatically. I would have never guessed they would make that much difference.

Anyone think the people at Shimano should read these treads !!!
I have many TLD single and 2 speed reels, and can't remember the last time I used one of them because the handles are way too short !

Check out http://www.reelcolors.com/reelcolors_004.htm

Call Tom. He's easier to get via the phone.

Maybe we should post in Japanese so they can understand the simple problems with their products.

Every time I check out the newer Daiwa gear, I like it more and more over the Shimano stuff.

My Daiwa Luna's are great reels

My Calcutta 700 TE's have cheap plastic levers on them, give me a break!!! They can't make them from metal????

We have to vote with our wallets.

They (Shimano) think they have a lock on the market, they are wrong.

I did, no answer yet!!!

I also emailed Reelcolors last night.

The Tiburon option looks good too. Price seems to be the lowest so far.

here's the two speed 20/30 handle .....

here's the single speed 20/25 handle .....

they're stainless steel and delron. very simple, very tough. the grip has a 9 degree offset. area rule has a patent on everything from 10 to 25 degrees. avet uses 9 degrees and so do i. a longer arm is nice as well.

You won't be disappointed. They're reasonably priced, tough and in high and low gear super easy to crank

I just wanted to post an update on my quest for better reel handles for my TLD20's.

Alan's handles arrived today and I must say that these handles are sturdy, well designed and will probably (definitely) outlast the reel itself. The grip is large, strong material used for it. offset angle which is great, and the stainless used is nice and sturdy, not thin and cheap.

Thanks Alan
