Oahu Hawaii Charter recommendations?

I will be in Oahu in October for a week, would like to get offshore with someone good. Any recommendations? Please no Kona/Maui/Big Island boats, we are staying on Oahu for the week. I want a marlin/spearfish, don't care about tuna/wahoo/dolphin.

You could try The Magic, 50 Pacifica Captain Russell Tanaka, fishes out of Kewalo Basin very close to Honolulu. He has a web site, try "magic sportfishing". Hope this helps.

There are many well qualified captains and boats on Oahu. Kewalo Basin is the home of the majority of the islands fleet.

Check out Mike DeRego's Inter-Island Sportfishing. Their boat the Maggie Joe has the harbors second largest marlin @ 1277lb. when a friend of mine was running the boat. Remember the tricky part will be, if the fish are around and want to strike.
