It was a banner night for the Catch My Drift last night. We've been in a slump these past few Friday nights. I think the past 3 Friday's we've caught 1 swordfish. We also fished the tournament last Saturday. We hooked 3 fish that night, but they all pulled the hooks. Its been tough for us lately. Anyway, last night our luck took a different swing. Capt. Adam found this cool little temperature change out there and set us up on it. The current was weird and we had a really strange drift. It was tough getting the lines out.

Anyway, we caught our first fish which was pretty small. We released it and set the lines back out. As we were getting out 7th or 8th line out, bam another fish. Catch him, rinse, repeat... We ended up catching 5 swords last night, 4 of which were keepers. The smallest one ended up being a 50 pounder and the largest was 64" forklength fish that probably weighed around 140. It was a helluva lotta fun out there for us on Friday and I'm looking forward to next week. Good luck to anyone fishing this week, the fish are biting pretty good out there. I heard some other nice fish caught too. We'll be out there next Friday night. Catcha all later...
