Bone-Eat-O! A great weekend of fishing, heck, make it a great season so far . . .

. . . on the new ride. This has been the best season so far for the fish and somehow the bounty has been plentiful. Here are some pics from the season to date . . .

This was Saturday morning. Funny how some catch these and use them for bait while we catch them on light tackle and eat them as they are tasty. We sashimi'd them up and some soy and fresh from the garden chili and it was good!, and I'm not even a fish eater, I just like to catch them. I bring them into work and trade my coworkers for fried chicken, chicken curry and deserts, nice barter I got going on anyhow.

I agree with Bonita being good eats! Just don't mix them with False albacore, I wouldn't feed them to the dogs.

how do you sashimi bonita I too caught a few this past weekend and heard they are good as sashimi. do you just filet them and eat the meat raw? do you need to soak the meat in cold water or anything? not sure how to do it but want to give it a try....

We just fillet the fish then just slice it thin, dip in the sauce of your choice and it is like the Veal of the sea.
