C02 or Nitrogen Bottle on board?

Anybody using bottled Nitrogen or CO2 bubbled in a cooler's ice slush to use the cold when you need the cold to bring down the temp on a big tuna, or recharge your limited supply of ice?

Can't keep LN2 in a bottle only in a dewar. Co2 can be in a bottle but you need to make sure you get one with a dip-tube. That lets you get the LCO2 into the ice box.

If you are into paintball the 20 oz bottle will chill stuff quick. The key is getting to liquid CO2 into the chest. Be damn careful. CO2 in a confined will not sustain life. Keep you head out of the cooler or you will turn blue quick. Bull I have to tell you it seems like a hell of a lot of trouble when Ice, water and salt will freeze what you need. I remember when I was a kid, almost before electricity, we made ice cream with a handcrank bucket, ice, and rock salt. You crank, add salt and ice and like magic you a frozen ice cream in August.
