What's the oldest fish you ever caught??? 90 year old rockfish caught by a commerical boat in Alaska

Cobs don't live much older than 15-20.

Wacked the 1st big red drum I caught back in the 70's & kept the ear stones (otoliths). Couple of years ago had one of them cut & aged. 44"FL fish that was 41 years old.

RE: What's the oldest fish you ever caught??? Caught an 80# black drum a couple years ago. The Georgia DNR took him to study. They thought he may have been as old as 60. Turned out to be @35 years old. Would have released him but the leader got wrapped in his gills and killed him. One ugly nasty fish.
