I know that Salmon University is putting on a 2 or 3 day seminar in march. The event will be held in Renton, Wa. on Mar 17 weekend I believe. Tuna fishing is one of the things they will be covering. I plan on making my share of trips out of Neah Bay this year, it should be interesting and fun.

You would be fishing the same fish as we get here in WA just a bit later in the season. The key to these fish is finding 59 F degree water temps. After that just drop some Sevenstrand Clones in and start catching. It really is pretty simple. Are you sure you're seeing skipjacks? I've never seen one here (in WA). I usually troll about 7 knots and run between 4-6 lines. Alot more action than salmon fishing all day for a few fish.

Also check out Ifish.net for OR & WA fishing info that would be useful for you. Feel free to PM me if you need more information.
