Default 200 hpdi idle issue

Good morning

I am hoping you can help. I have twin '00 200 hpdi's on my boat. The port engine idles at 1200 where the starboard engine idles at 600. The port tach is reading double what the starboard tach is reading. Example: ran the boat yesterday and the starboard tach read 3000 and the port tach read 6000.
Over the winter we installed a new port tach and added a third battery. We set the jumpers on the new tach to the same settings on the starboard tach. We also ran a second wire to the starboard engine to charge new battery.
Is there an easy way to adjust the idle on the port engine or am I having problems with my new tach?
I hope this makes some sense.

Thanks

Jon

Also almost forgot to ask if I can get a quote on the Yamaha 10 micron fuel filters? I am looking to get 4-6 of them.

Thanks again

Wags,

I think you may have the pole setting on thenew tach in the wrong postition. It needs to be in the 12 pole setting. Double check that. The dip switch infoshould be on the little card that came with the tach (if it was new). If you do not have it let me know and I can post it or email it to you.

Jon,

Can you send me an email to parts@shipyardisland.com and I will reply to that with a quote for those. I think you may have ordered from me before, but I am terrible with remembering THT names to real names or email address's.

Thanks

Andy
