Default Yamaha fuel management problem
I splashed the boat and took her out for a cruise and the fuel management is not working, all i'm getting is 0's. It worked fine last year, could you recommend me something to look for to fix? Single 2002 f225

Anthony,

Check the FM sender harness connections at the FM sender and behind the gauge. Un plug them and visually inspect for corrosion. Post back what you find.

Andy,
Does the one behind the gauge, just pull it and it comes off and I guess the FM harness you are refering to the black plastic clip at the transom? Sorry for not knowing but the gauge was installed when I bought the boat.

The FM sender is the aluminum device in the pic. The plug for that is the black plastic connector.

Problem fixed, the white plug at the gauge was separated. thanks for your help!!
