Default Yamaha Z200TXRB Spring Commissioning

I'd like to have my 2002 motor (85hrs) checked prior to me launching in a few weeks. Wish you folks were closer to me in Newburyport, MA! Just curious on what I really need to do before launching. Last year, I replaced the plugs and the lower unit oil - but I had just purchased the boat. I replaced the lower unit oil as part of the winterization (along with greasing, fogging and draining fuel from the vapor separator per the manual)

Manual is pretty 'vague' on spring starting, other than be sure to verify oil flow when 1st started.

I'd like to have the 100hr check performed in addition to a spring "check". Any thoughts on what I should be sure to have performed? Rough idea of what I can expect to pay?

Thanks

If you take it to a Yamaha dealer they are going to know what to do at the 100hour.

Some of this you*may have done already but if it was here...............spark plugs, gear lube, HPDI lube change, check HPDI belt, YDS the engine, fuel filters(engine and boat), lube prop shaft, grease fittings and*take care of anything you are concerned about. May be to early for a water pump change unless the engine is a couple of years old.........

As far as your spring-startup.....check the gear lube again, pump primer bulb to fill VST tank back up,grease prop shaft and fittings, run engine and check for leaks and sea trial

Hope this helps....

Andy

Sure does help.

Thanks Again Andy.

I'll probably order a fuel filter from you shortly.
