Default Required warning lights... gauges?

My new (to me) boat (McKee 196CC) has a 2006 F150. The Faria factory analog gauge package that came with it has no engine warning lights, horns (beepers)... just a tach, speedo, Voltage, trim.
I came from the E-Tec school with warning lights, beeps, etc. Is there a warning light package that I can plug into the harness, or a tach with warning lights built in?
I heard guys talking about a low oil horn... is this on the motor, or should it be on the gauge?

Already purchased a bunch of stuff from Andy. Quick professional service. My gear lube kit arrived today!

Cast,

First.......thank you for your order. We appreciate that!

Do you have a Yamaha key switch panel or is the key switch built into the dash somehow? If you do, you will get a audible warning alarm with low oil pressure and or high water temp. But without a Yamaha gauge, you won't know which one it is. Either alarm will put the engine in rpm reduction mode.

Thanks

Andy

I have the Yamaha key switch panel. So I take it that the sounder is in (under) the panel.
Can I add anything light warning light wise?
Bill

Cast,

Nothing that is going to plug into your existing harness's. I have never done it, but knowing what wire does what behind the dash, you could rig something up. Not worth it in my opinon though. I would buy a Yamaha multi-function tach and be done with it before I went thru that effort.

You could always replace the Faria analog tach with a Yamaha analog tach. It has two lights, one for overheat and one for low oil pressure. Or, maybe Faria makes one with lights integrated in it.

You might also need the Yamaha trim/oil harness to supply the ground lead to the lamps. Unless the boat builder used this to get the trim signal to your trim gauge, in which case it is already there.
