Spinning the motors inward definately gets you some stern lift, how much is hard to gauge because every hull responds differently, but it certainly helps. The negative is decreased handling around the dock. If you were to use the engines to spin the bow into the wind, you would have a tough time doing that. The Rev 4 props certainly help bite the water at docking speeds, however. If you tend to use the wheel more than the engines to spin the boat, then you won't notice much difference. I think wedges are also something that should be looked at, they do wonders for many boats and the cost to install wouldn't be that astronomical, a couple hours labor and the wedges themselves only cost about $40 a pair. If you do install wedges, then you can raise the engines the final hole as the increase in negative trim and additional setback will allow for this.
