Default Required Yamaha Gauges?

I'm considering selling my 1999, 50 HP, four strokeEvinrude engine and buying a 90 HP Yamaha 4 stroke.

I know I'll have to replace the controls and wiring harness but what gauges will I have to replace. I can't afford the expensive digital gauges. Areany of mycurrent analog gauges usable?

I would imagine there is a connector on the harness for the Yamaha gauges or are there loose wires? If a connector, is there an adapter available to use with loose wires and my existing gauges?

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Default RE: Required Yamaha Gauges?

cinda,

I would highly suggest a Yamaha MF tach kit at a minimum. This would give you a Yamaha MFtach, trim gauge, hour meter, visual indicators for low oil pressure and high water temp. All this for less then $300.
