Darn Andy, Ya did it again!
Well, finally got to put the Mud Runner back in the water and try the new props this morning. I serviced the engines including new VST tank filters supplied by SIM. The engines run as expected smooooooth. With a3/4 tank of fuel (full is 210 gals), she ran 5800 and trimmed out she ran 6000 on the head. I may have lostless than 2 knots. It ran 39 Kts on the gps. At least I know now that I'm not over propped thans to you Andy. I'm almost tempted to paint those SWS2 props black. They were drawing a crowd when it sat on the trailer. Carlos

Hi Carlos,
Glad to hear it went well for ya.
Your engines will appreciate that you care so much about them in making sure that they are correctly propped.
Thanks again for your order. We appreciate it!

OK, here's the update on the SWS II props. Finally got the Mud Runner back in the water this morning. The entire bottom was stripped and six coat of Interprotect and two coats of Micron Extra. Got to run in vertually flat seas. The engines are still running at 6000 rpm's trimmed out but instead of 39 kts on the gps it was consistantly clocking 41.5 kts. Once again, thanks for your time and talent.

Don't laugh, I had a blowboater onboard for the shakedown this morning. His jaw slacked when I throttled up. He said, "It took you all of 15 minutes to do what it would have taken me half a day".
It's not the gain but the fact that the engine will breath easier. It's 80 miles one way to good tuna grounds.
