Default Bolt hole dimensions

SIM,

I’d like to layout and drill the holes in the new transom to mount a 2003, 130TXRB Yamaha, but the dimensions on page 2-16 of the Yamaha Service manual I bought from you a few months ago show a two-tenths of an inch difference in the horizontal, center to center spacing for the top and bottom sets of holes, and I can’t figure out what set of dimensions apply to my engine. My engine is not a saltwater series (S), and it is not a counter rotating motor (L).

Which dimensions do I use for B-1 and B-3 on the chart in the manual, and, for future reference, what’s the correlation between my engine and the various model designations used in the manual (to me, it seems unlikely that there would be a difference between a S, L and standard rotation motor)?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly..........I do not have any idea. We use a Yamahatransom jig for drilling engine holes. The difference between aLH andRH engine are all in the gear case only. The engine brackets would be identical.

You are more then welcome to use one of ours at NC. Just pay the shipping to you and back to me.
