Default Power Assist

Ok, so now I'm looking at a new helm pump. Question: I have a 35 Contender, would adding a power assist whlie I'm at it offer much of a difference to the hydraulic only system?

Thanks,

Nestor,

Teleflex power assist I assume?

Easier to turn the wheel. If that is important and you don't mindspending the$$$ then go for it. If your wheel is easy to turn consider adding a spinner on the steering wheel if you do not have one already. They help a lot with spinning the wheelaround the dock.

Default RE: Water Pump

Hello Andy

I talked to you about several weeks ago about water pump install on a little 6hp Yamaha.Everything seemed to go well, except having a hard time getting the shaft to line up with the head. I was wondering if you put some grease on the end, would that help it to slide on easier. Or if there is some kind of trick to it.

Thank you
Don

Don,

Try rotating the flywheel a little. Sometimes thats all it takes.
