Andy, what was the last year these engines were built? I'm thinking of re-powering with a pair of low hour, late model units. Anything critical to look for?

In the US they were available all the way till the 2005 model year. As long as they were properly maintained and checked over, I would have no concerns with them.

I will say this, I would also be looking for apair of Z200's HPDI's as well. They also are a very solid engines, and the fuel economy with the HPDI is significantly better then the OX66 EFI.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just saw a new pair of 2003 c/r hpdi 150s at a super good price. Will look into it. Does the dealer need to install '03, or did that just start with '06s?

They are '04s. Here is the item description from the ad;

"BRAND NEW! Full Factory Warranty. We have two both at the low price of $8,500 a piece."

Will these "plug and play" to '91 150 Yammie controls?
