Default Outboard Specialties Vendor Forum Debut

I would like to formally introduce myself as a new "The Hull Truth" sponsor. As a long time follower and contributor I thought it was appropriate to offer my support. My name is Mike Lardani of Outboard Specialties in Pompano Beach FL.. My partner, Mike Lund, and I have become known as the Mike and Mike of the marine industry. Both of us grew up on boats in Pompano Beach and decided to open up shop here back in 1998 after working for various marinas and picking up all we could gather in experience. We have been a Suzuki Marine dealer for 10 years now and quickly became the "go to" people for Suzuki Repowers, Parts and Service. We carry a large inventory of new motors, rigging, props, parts and accessories. If you need Suzuki 4-stroke parts, more then likely we have it in stock. We also have a large assortment of used suzuki parts and used motors of various sizes and brands. Trade-ins are always welcome. Outboard Specialties is also Seastar Solutions Optimus 360 certified and a JL Audio "Signature" dealer. A large variety of JL speakers and amps are always in stock.

From bottom painting to repowers and everything in between, we have you covered. Just ask around about Mike and Mike from Outboard Specialties.

PS...Unfortunately we do not always keep up with THT throughout the day so if you need assistance or quotes please call us at 954-942-9898 or email at [email protected]
PSS... Don't forget to LIKE us on facebook to keep up with current repower projects and activities.

Thank You
Mike Lardani
Mike Lund

Default 2014 250ap clanking sound

you might have seen on the tht that I wrote about this before. I am not getting any results from customer service in California, so I made a video of this noise and want to you tube it but before I do this I would like to see if I can get someone else in a higher position to have this looked into. the problem with it is. I will go forward then put it in neutral it beeps and shows neutral on the guage then I push the stop button and it shuts down, but when I turn the key off it makes two very audible clanks from the lower unit, ican wait 15-20 seconds and it will still do it. if you know of anybody in Suzuki that I may contact it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

send me the video you have and let me see whats happening. My email is [email protected]. It seems like the shift actuator is simply trying to find nuetral when you turn it off, hence the noise, but without seeing/hearing it its tough to say. Where are you located?

These guys are absolutely the BEST at what they do. Once you get to experience this kind of service, you'll be a customer for life and hold everyone else to a higher standard.

Here is some misc boats getting new motors hung today, the boat show deals are coming in and getting rigged. This is an advantage to having a large inventory of in stock motors, when you want them, we got them. We can get you done when the other guys cannot.

Miami boat show was excellent, now its time to rig them all. These are getting hung this week, from singles to quads, lots of overtime around here. And you can't rig motors without props so a fresh shipment just arrived to add to our large inventory, all sizes, 3 and 4 blade, for any application from 90 HP and up. Almost 200 stainless suzuki props in stock, including some brand new 4 blade designs from Japan. Can't wait to test them out.

Outboard Specialties understands the importance of all boat shows especially the ones in our own backyard. The Ft. Lauderdale boat show is one of the greatest and largest in the world drawing tens of thousands of people from countries all around the globe. You can see everything marine related in one spot, compare different products, and make an informed decision to purchase at the show where dealers and manufacturers offer show only related discounts and incentives to those that display at the show. Outboard Specialties is proud to be showcasing the Suzuki marine product with the largest display of Suzuki Outboards ever at this show. You can see all models from the 2.5HP up to the 300HP with all new graphics for 2017. Nebular Black is standard for all models while Cool White is available from 40HP thru 300HP, all will be on display in booth 2030 inside the convention center.
We stand behind our product , our customers, and our integrity to provide the best possible experience. I wish all of you a great show and hope to see you there.

i met mike at the 2017 miami boat show this past weekend, and ended up purchasing 2 200s fly by wire for my world cat. Best service & price i received so far, and a real pleasure to speak with. i simply cannot wait to get them installed on my boat in the upcoming weeks.
