i am looking to install leds on a 1998 maxum scr3000, the water we boat in is anything but clear.

Blue and white work fine. I think for all out distance white would be best. But blue does fine too.

Blue has a shorter wavelength than most colors so it should be the last color to scatter and thus, will appear to penetrate the water further. I'm pretty sure of that anyway. Violet would actually have an even shorter wavelength, but then you have purple lights under your boat and most people aren't really into that.

white lights are great, but for more opaque waters, blue works well. Green performs best in murky waters.

I have brand new (3) Ocean Led Pro A12 Amphibians under water lights. These are the desired green ones which work best for fishing. Change of plans can save you some $$. I would like $2100 for all (3). I take paypal. Email me with any questions john.brunelle@prosystemsllc.com
