Default Ordered a Pair of 2010's in Blue Today

Well after much research and deliberation I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a pair of 2010's for the Ocean SuperSport. I think these should be a nice addition to the boat. Not many boats here in the Pacific Northwest have underwater lights so it should be a head turner at the dock. Mainly using for dock appeal, rasing dockside marine life for kids to watch, and lastly to use offshore when fishing. Did a overnight trip offshore this last summer and after seeing what the spreaders were like at night I knew I had to blow some dough on these.

Going to install soon once they arrive. Wish the haulout rebate did not require a purchase of 4 lights. A sliding scale with 2 min would have been better.

Will post pics when installed.

Went with the Blue. Supposed to be more attractive to the fish than white. With the white I am told the fish hang just outside the light pattern while with the Blue the fish damn near bump into the light. We will see.

I have a set of 2010s in blue on my boat. They work really well.
I use them for offshore canyon fishing at night to attract bait, and so we can see what's going on around the boat. Excellent.

Before you splash the boat, use a good primer and paint on the metal bezel. My old boat I didnt do that, and the bezel pitted quickly. On my new boat I did, and hauled it last week. Bezel looked perfect. I just used tape to mask off the lens and sprayed with Trilux Primocon, followed by Trilux 33. Paint was perfectly intact and clean 6 months underwater.
