you are better off with a stick camera. the in-hull cameras are cool for the first 5 minutes, until you find out that you cant aim it.

Default EYES underwater Camera

Dear all,

I just wanted to share some information with you all regarding our new EYES underwater camera.

We have just recevied some new footage from our sponsored fishing team, 'Get Lit' who currently have (5) of our underwater camera on their Viking boat.

We have added the footage to our website and will continue to update the footage as we receive it in from our team. Please feel free to check out the initial footage from the link below:

http://oceanled.com/Product_Pages/EYES.php

In addition, we have recently just installed a camera on a 62' Pershing. The captain hooked up the camera to the TV in the lounge area and recorded some footage on his handheld video camera. The captain wanted the ability to be able to see the Arnison drives working whilst moving and also some cool aqaurium style shots whilst at dock. Please check out the initial footage from this boat on youtube which is actually quite interesting!:

We shall be adding more footage to the website as and when we receive it. We are currently compressing video for the website from 'Get Lit' of an actual sailfish catch which is very impressive and should be on the website soon!

I am ready to buy one today. But the video on your website DO NOT provide any REAL WORLD usage. Those video looks too touched up. Those video are not very convincing. Almost looks fake. Looks it was taken by hand held camera instead.

As for the video on youtube. That is exactly what I am looking for. However that video was at speed. Do you have any video at drift or idle to show how well the camera actually pickup bottom structure or fish. Please do include visibility of the water so I can understand the quality/performance of the camera.

I want to know exactly what I am considering so the sooner you can provide the necessary video. The sooner I can buy.

I want to use such camera for checking out bottom structure and fish in 20' of clear tropical water. It will be mounted to look straight down. I will also consider an angled camera looking forward if available.

Thank you for the feedback regarding the video on the website. Your comments have been noted and as soon as we get better footage, we will put that in its place. The video at the moment is agreeably not the best, so we are trying to get some decent fishing images whilst the boat is in use.

With regards the Pershing on Youtube, the captain informs me that he was heading to the Bahamas last weekend, and will take some more footage whilst he is docked there, during the day and also at night when he has his blue underwater lights on.

As soon as he posts the video I will post the link on here to illustrate the cameras effetiveness at dock. Hopefully by the beginning of next week it should be online.
