Default Ocean LED A-6 failure

I installed a pair of A-6 amphibians on my boat at the end of November 2008. They worked O.K. for about 2 weeks. Then the starboard light would go on and off intermittently. Now both lights dont work.

I called Turtle Marine.com where I bought the lights and they said that since they had been "installed," I couldnt get a refund from them. They told me to contact OceanLED directly. I called Ocean LED over 2 weeks ago and I left a message for Mr. Savage. I gave them my cell and office phone and I have received no replies from OceanLED.

Not a satisfied customer.

No reply at all. I thought that OceanLED hosted this forum. 6 days ago I posted this and that was only after not hearing back from their corporate office when I called them on 12/22/08.

They should have contacted you by now. In these bad times you never know when a company might hang it up. i guess we will have to look elsewhere for our LED lights. Good Luck

yeah I was looking into 3-A-12's for my Grady but have since looked elsewhere since this post and the lack of the vendor taking care of your problem. Spread the word do not buy from OCEAN LED!

I noticed that OceanLED has not replied to any inquiries on this site which they allegedly host since August 2008 (5 months ago). That's not a real good sign.

For the record, I was contacted by OceanLED yesterday. They emailed me a claim form to complete and verbally assured me that they will take care of my problem. I'll let everyone know how this works out.

As promised I said I'd update everyone on my situation. OceanLED apologized for the delay in their response and replaced the defective lights with upgraded lights for my hassle and inconvenience. I got the new lights via overnight mail today.

They were polite and professional.

Glad the fixed the issue but them dragging their feet in times like these does them no good at all.

OK, I now have the new A-12's installed. I took a picture last night while tied up at a dock. The photo was taken with my cell phone, so the quality is not the greatest. Also, the water is pretty murky so you dont get the full effect of the lights. However, I have to say that I am happy with these lights. If they continue to perform well, I'm a satisfied customer.

I bought 2-A12's and 2-A3's and one of the A3's were the old style. I called Ocaen LED and had the replacement the next AM. Mr. Savage was very polite and I would and will do business with them again!
