RE: Here we Go OK Guys
This is a cut and paste from an email I wanted to share with you all.
I installed the A12's. The installation was a breeze. I happen to live in Ct on the Housatonic River so realizing the river here is very murky, I was not very impressed with the light output at first. I guess I watched too many videos on the website and was hoping for a more `wow factor`. Once I got out to cleaner water it did improve significantly. However, if you live in a dirty water area, don’t buy these lights for show or perhaps go with the white ones. Mine are green. Where they did shine (no pun intended) is attracting bait. There, is the wow factor. I have literally thousands of sand eels and other bait drawn in with minutes of turning the lights on. On almost every occasion I have had stripped bass and blues banging into the back of the boat going after the bait. I have not noticed any power draws at all, but I do have 4 batteries and a smart charger on board. Would or should I have gone to with the 2010”s as I wanted? I have to say as an avid tournament fisherman I believe the 2010’s may have been too bright for fishing perhaps spooking the bass up here. Not sure what will happen in the open water at the canyons this year, but I will let you know. I will send pictures as soon as I get some good ones not taken from a cell phone. I do have to say the folks at Ocean LED are great to work with and I am proud of them for stepping up and taking care of Brain (a poster that received a defected unit and was sent new ones right a way) . I am a life time customer just for hearing that story. I will take some pics with a good cam and post.
