I was out Friday night- great evening on the water. Bass and blues were cooperative too.

Was out today (Saturday) by Jones Inlet. Has anyone seen the bunker? Heard they headed east...

Bunker are gone...they are further east. Water temperatures have shot up so that bass will be moving on with them. But the past two weeks have been great bass fishing

Bunker galore off Island Beach, NJ, today. Acres of nervous fish with giant blues under them. We are sore and tired from those gators we caught today.

Thanks HUP... the striper fishing has been unbelievable while they were around. Guess it's time to waste gas trying to put together a catch of 18+ inch fluke.

You know it...an 18+ inch fluke is hard to find these days. I have heard reports that there has been good fluke fishing out by stonybrook. Not that helps us out at all...

HUP, found some nice fluke in 50' in front of the pink hotel. Wife and I took 2 fish over 22", but were then attacked by flies...I mean hundreds of them out of no where sticking to every surface of the boat and our bodies. Tried to tough it out but it was awful!

There is some decent structure out by the pink hotel. I am going to go for seabass this weekend out at the Rockaway Reef and then head offshore on sunday for some tuna. Hopefully the weather will be good along with the fishing. This heat spell can't help things...good luck and thanks for the info
