Are you looking for a spot for the season or just for a few days? If it's a season spot you're looking for, Good luck. Because of the May floods several marinas lost docks, 2 of them were totally wiped out (McKenzies in Amesbury and Ferry Landing in Newburyport) and the boat works lost about 1/2 of their docks. Although they are working on replacement docks none of them has yet to totally recover. I no many people were running around looking for space at the last minute. If you're just looking for a spot overnight or for a few says, the Newburyport city docks are usually available. You can also look into Newburyport Harbor Marina next to the USCG station as I believe they rent dockage on a short term basis inside their fuel dock and it's close to shops and restaurants.

City of Newburyport docks are good, cheap, water, and electricity. Close to everything. I think you can reserve ahead of time. Otherwise, Newburyport Harbor Marina (channel 9).
