I'm ready. Re crimped all my bars with floats, new stingers for all, sea witches ready. Got my first tuna last year, hoping for more this year. Where them giants at? Haha

Does this thread include Shark hunting or just Tuna/Swords? I'm fishing the FHA tournament on the 17th and the Stella Maris (Brooklyn) Tournament on the 24th. Will turn attention to Canyons after that.

i kno a few boats went to the hudson and did pretty well with bluefin between 100-300lbs
im really curious if anyone stayed inshore this weekend and how they did
if weather shapes up i might do a tuna/shark inshore run thursday

We stayed inshore.
Plenty of life bet BA and triple wk.
Mudhole had some bait and blue sharks
Monster ledge dead and blue sharks

Thanks for the report. When you say triple wrecks are you referring to the area about 10 miles ESE from the Corvallis? I know some people call them the southern triples etc.

There was an insane Bluefin bite first couple days of month like that thurs-sat. It was at the Elbow in Hudson..some boats had over 40 fish and some large well over 300. All on the troll. It was short lived as far as that crazy action...Good friend of mine w/ mucho experience was there sunday for 3 small Bluefin....On way in they dumped a can at the tower for 1 blue shark, just so the kids can catch their first shark...

I know this doesn't help you now, but there WAS an insane bite.
