I need to get the 10 hour service done on my F250, but it looks like there's no certified mechanics in Brooklyn. Can anyone recommend a place that I can get to by water? Maybe even in NJ?
One place in LI wants $200.00 just to make the trip. It comes out to $335.00 just for an oil change. If I have to pay it, I will. There has to be someone closer though.
I know about Ed's Marine, but I heard they aren't that great. I called them up and they wouldn't even give me a price. Everytime I asked how much he gave me some BS about the time it would take the mechanic to drive there, and all the work involved in the 10 hour service. They seemed a little shady.
Re: Nearest certified Yamaha tech near Brooklyn, NY?
Are you talking about Eddie's Marine by the Atlantic Beach Bridge? I have used them before and was happy with the service and price. Who did you you talk to over there?
Re: Nearest certified Yamaha tech near Brooklyn, NY?
Gateway Marine in Atlantic Highlands. I get all my parts from them. They are a certified Yamaha service center. Easy trip from Brooklyn. I go there from S.I. If you set up an appointment ahead of time, they'll service your motors while you go out and have lunch or cocktails at the nearby restaurants.
