I don't have a grady but I have been to that dealer and have gotten yamalube and ring free at a good price. I live in the area and have never heard anything bad about them. They seem friendly and helpful enough. Good luck.

Baert's been there for years and theyhave always treated me great. I bought my current boat there and have bought quite a few parts there over the years and they've always been very professional.

28ft.Sailfish with 2- 225 Yamahas. They offered test rides this weekend, which I took. The boat is super nice for its class.

Darn.. I forgot about their test drives this weekend. Where there a lot of boats to take out?
I deal with Bayside in Duxbury but have spoken to Baert's at the Boston show and over the phone. Were always pleasant and knowledgeable.

Noreaster There were about six boats there. They had some of their other line of boats there. I didn't pay much attention to them. I was only interested in the 28 ft sailfish. Not many people there on Sat. when I got there. About 1/2 dozen. There was no pressure and I could have taken all the time I wanted, within reason.

I have dealt with Baert, they are easy to deal with and back up their product with Grady White.

I have nothing but good things to say about Grady White, both dealer as well as the manufacturer.
Keep us posted

I bought a used 282 Grady from them last month! They have been excellent to deal with. No reason not to do business with them.

Bought my GW 232 from Baert and service and support have been excellent. I will put a plug in for Bob Freeman (sales rep)-he's absolutely top notch in my book.

Bought my 3rd Grady from Baert this winter. Dealt with co-owner Bill on the 1st 2, Bob Freeman on the last. Both are great guys. I don't have much experience with other dealers but I can't speak highly enough of Bill & his staff - he runs a business which would score high for integrity in any industry... (no, I'm not an employee, just a fan!).

Far as I can tell, Baert's service manager (Clyde Driscoll) knows his stuff well. I never had a problem that he didn't take care of right away, and I know a couple guys with other brand boats that go to Clyde for engine work & to get advice on things like bottom painting (which they felt their dealers never got right in the first place).

This boat originally came from Baert. I didn't buy it from them but the first owner did, in 1987. My family dealt with them a couple of times, buying engines and having maintenance done. I can't remember any complaints, other than when our outboard motor and a dozen others were stolen out of their yard during the night. That could have happened to anyone though.
