I could be wrong but I think this is a done deal. They leave these forums for public comments so people can vent but the regs are already set with no reqard to what the general population has to say

Definitely not a done deal at all.
This is being fought by NY and NJ senators and representatives.
In fact NJ decided to reject the proposal.
Not sure what is going to happen but its not a done deal at all.
You are from NJ, there was an epic turnout in Galloway to reject the MAMFC proposal.

They did a really good meeting over in Bourne the other day with the 5 different options. Then also discussed what happens if the five dont get met etc. The good part on all the options mass isnt great effected persay looks like for sure we will probably lose 1" to 17". Hopefully bag limit stays there, however one thing is we have to remember is we knew what was discussed at the meeting but each state gets a vote on the plan and all we heard was mass... RI meeting was Thursday night, I believe, did anyone go? Input?

From what I heard it was standing room only it was that filled, and everyone was disagreeing to the point where the Capt of some charter boat in the North stood up and asked if anyone here agrees with these changes and no one said yes
