Default Striper Show at Gillette Stadium this weekend?

Anybody know about this show? Is it worth a half day?

Striper's in a stadium? Wouldn't you be better off just going to the local strip joint?

It's the Sport Fishing Expo put on by the Massachusetts Striped Bass Association. More info on the website:

http://www.msba.net/expo/

I had a booth at last year's show when it was still held at the Independance Mall in Kingston and it was a great little show. Lots of fishing info and a good boater turnout. This year should be even nicer at Gillette's "Club House" which I'm told overlooks the stadium. See you there!

Should be a good show. Stop by the Fish Connection booth and say hi. Bob V.

I went to small boat show they had last year there for the first time. Didn't go this year, but it has some good size inside, and yes it is within view of the stadium.

Can be laid out better than in the walkway of the mall.

Spent the day yesterday at Gillette Stadium setting up the Fish Connection booth. Looks like it is a good show. Lots of vendors with tackle ranging from Giant tuna to light tackle. Would be worth the trip. Bob

Your post make NO sense!
In the past it has been at the Kingston mall (the vacant Bob's store last year & the vacant Filenes basement store)
I don't know of the Walkway you mention and I'm a club member & also a show volunteer/ captain!
You didn't go this year???
It's a bit after 6:00 am Sat as I type this, and the doors don't open till 9:00 am this morning !!!
And the show this year is not only in view of the stadium, It's IN the stadium !!! In the Fidelity investments area!!!
Come on out to the show this weekend, it's going to be great !

Setting up my booth yesterday, while OVERLOOKING the stadium, was pretty cool. I think this weekend will be great. The show seems quite a bit larger than last year in terms of how many vendors. This show is not to be confused with the "MA Boat Show" which was two weeks ago and was held across the parking lot in the Dana Farber Fieldhouse (training bubble). This weekend's MSBA Sport Fishing Expo is inside the stadium in an area like the box seats. It's a large room which has been divided up into corridors for vendor booths. It seems like a pretty decent setup and we'll see later this morning how the foot traffic flows through the space. Looking at the number and variety of the vendors the event will not disappoint.

It was my first time at the MSBA show and thought it was an excellent show. Fantastic venue and side from being a liitle dark around our booth, it was very comfortable. Saturday was very well attended, runor had it that it beat last year's two day total. Today was a bit slower. The seminars all had lots of people in the seats. I will definitely be back next year...
