Topside Canvas in Westbrook. Best prices on the shoreline. Ask for Maureen.

I would also try Canvas Group of Old Saybrook (Spray Curtains, Wings, and Covers for Leaning post and Center Console). Speak with Carl he is awesome. Also, I have used The Boat Tailors of Old Saybrook (Full Mooring Cover). They have just moved to a new location of Rt 1.

I would highly recommend both!

Topside Canvas in Westbrook. Best prices on the shoreline. Ask for Maureen.
I will second Topside, I just had all my glass replaced in encloser for wa, price was great, service was great, workmanship was great. John had recomended them before, he didn't steer me wrong. I am probably gonna have them redo my V-berth cushions.

Thanks for the tip on Canvas Group and the seconding of Topside. I talked with Topside & they are booked through June which, to me, is a good sign. They are busy; their work is in demand. Will shoot off an RFQ to Canvas Group tomorrow.

When I picked up my encloser at Topside we discussed doing my v berth cushions. She told me they were booked thru June but she told me I could get on the list for the work and she would call me to bring the cushions in when my turn was coming up so that I would only be without them for a week or 2. I might wait till winter.

I'd like to also recommend Topside. Picked up 2 repaired Eisenglass panels (new zippers & snaps) and a mended cushion cover just last week. Total bill was $65. As I was gathering my pieces, Maureen noticed some of the panel snaps did not look right and would not let me take the piece until she could redo it on her dime.
Quality work, good price, what more can you ask for?

I always used Royal Auto Upholstery in Norwalk when I had my boat up there. Leon is an excellent craftsman, used to be an avid fisherman and boat owner and took care of my covers and cushions for what now seems like an eternity. I just phoned him about a console cover for my boat that's now kept in MD.

Highly recommend The Boat Tailors in Old Saybrook. Just had my mooring cover repaired last week, excellent prices and friendly owner.
